I founded my brand in 1999 in Vara\u017edin in the desire to bring art into everyday life. Painting on silk is one of the most difficult painting techniques and as such it was a challenge for me to create small wearable works of art. By painting scarves and kerchiefs, I aimed for the idea of combining art and fashion into a functional item as a rarity on the market. Years of experience have made me an expert in this demanding creation, but also an inexhaustible field of creativity in the service of fine art.
In progressive creativity, I added a precious stone to silk in the unique Silk&Stone project.<\/p>\n

Today, in sunny Split, with a team of academic painters and renowned jewelers, we give our best every day, making unique pieces using the ancient techniques of painting on silk and making jewelry from precious stones as an exclusive offer in these areas.<\/p>\n

My beloved BBENKUS gallery is located in the remains of the church of St. Michael on the seashore (in ripa maris), in a semicircular Gothic apse carved into the western wall of Diocletian’s palace. That’s how I created a distinctive offer concept in the very center of the city through the image of Silk, Wine and Diamonds.
The painted scarves from here go to all corners of the world, which makes me succeed in my aspiration to offer the world an aesthetically, technically and functionally flawless product as an all-time stamp of elegance and style.
